Terms of Service
Last updated September 30, 2026
JusticeCFO is an informational tool. It does not provide legal, financial, investment, tax, or accounting advice, and its projections are estimates, not guarantees. You are responsible for your own decisions.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using JusticeCFO (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself and the law firm or organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Informational purposes only — no professional advice
The Service, including its dashboards, metrics, forecasts, projections, benchmarks, research articles, AI-assisted outputs, and all other content, is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing in the Service is legal, financial, investment, lending, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and nothing creates an attorney-client, fiduciary, advisory, or other professional relationship. You should consult qualified professionals before making any legal, financial, tax, borrowing, investment, or case-related decision.
3. Projections are estimates, not guarantees
Forecasts, case values, win probabilities, settlement timing, cash runway, capital pacing and similar figures are estimates based on the data you enter and on general assumptions. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date, and actual results will differ. Past results and industry data do not predict future outcomes.
You are solely responsible for verifying all information and for every decision you make, including decisions about accepting, funding, settling, or declining cases, borrowing, and managing firm finances.
4. Your data and your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for having the right to upload it. You must comply with your professional obligations, including rules of professional conduct, client confidentiality, and applicable privacy laws. Do not upload information you are not permitted to share.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure, for the activity of users you invite to your firm, and for any AI tools or third-party applications you connect to the Service.
5. Third-party sources and AI tools
The Service may reference third-party data sources and allow connections to third-party AI tools. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, services, or outputs. AI-generated output may be wrong and must be independently reviewed.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other firms' data, interfering with its operation, reverse engineering it, or using it for unlawful purposes.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JUSTICECFO AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, FEES, REVENUE, DATA, CASES, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless JusticeCFO and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, the data you provide, your decisions, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
10. Subscriptions, suspension and termination
Paid plans, if offered, are billed as described at checkout. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
11. Disputes
Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be resolved individually, not as a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes may require you to accept them again.
